One dead, another injured in a motorcycle accident
Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries.
VEREENIGING.- A man was killed and a woman critically injured in a motorcycle accident on General Hertoz Road in Vereeniging yesterday.
At 12:40, ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find another service already in attendance. A man and a woman were found lying in the road some distance away from their motorbike.
Medics assessed both patients and found that they had sustained numerous injuries and were in a critical condition.
Medics treated the patients and provided them with advanced life support interventions. After treatment, the woman was airlifted to a hospital by the Rocket EMS helicopter while the man was transported by ambulance.
Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
