Rust-ter-Vaal Secondary players make school proud

"Well done girls.”

RUST-TER-VAAL.- The best so called ‘coloured’ academic performing school in Gauteng has done it again.
This time it was on the sports field.
The following Rust-ter-vaal Secondary School u/15 netball players attended trials at Dr. Malan High School recently, Lindiwe Nosenga, Tasneem Rocker, Almay Ismail, Carr-Lee Abrahams, Itumeleng Malala and Kaylene de Koker. At these trials five players were selected for the D7- team that represent the district at Dr.Malan during the Sedibeng trials namely Nosenga, Rocker, Ismail, Abrahams and Malala.

In between the school played a league game against Phoenix High School and were victorious against them in the U/14 and 15 but lot in the U/17.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Deputy Principal and Coach, Clifton Abrahams said that at the Sedibeng trails hosted by Dr. Malan three netball players were selected to represent the Sedibeng district at the Gauteng Provincial trials at Roodepoort, Ruimsig, Crawford International namely Malala, Abrahams and Rocker.

“As their coach and manager and mentor I would like to say I’m very proud of you and your achievements.Well done girls.”
