Fresh produce farmers sought for upcoming market day

LKG Foundation for Development was established during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic with the aim of assisting existing and start-up Non Profit Organisations (NPO) to fundraise and meet the demands of the services they provide.

VEREENIGING. -The LKG Foundation for Development is calling out all fresh produce farmers and co-operatives to submit their details for an upcoming Farmers Market.

Information provided will be placed in a database that will be used for all updates and future programs by LKG Foundation for Development.

LKG Foundation for Development was founded during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic with the aim of assisting existing and start-up Non Profit Organisations (NPO) to fundraise and meet the demands of the services they provide.

Mathapaelo Moikangoa says, “This will be done through identifying and applying to appropriate funders, facilitating workshops and networking opportunities and creating sustainable working relationships between organisations, public and private sectors in order to grow our local economy.”

“This particular call out is for a Fresh-Farming Program that we are working on, to build a relationship between our fresh-produce farmers and co-operatives as well as the public.”
