GAUTENG.- A woman in her 30s was airlifted by Medical Helicopter to hospital after suffering critical injuries when a store’s roof inside a Krugersdorp Mall collapsed on top of her yesterday, Sunday.

ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 12:12 along with GPG, Mogale Traffic, the Fire Department and ER24’s Rescue One who helped extract the trapped patient from the brick and rubble. She was then treated with Advanced Life Support interventions before being flown by another private service’s Medical Helicopter to the hospital for further care.

It is unknown as to why the roof collapsed, but as stated, the Fire Department was on the scene for further investigations.
