VANDERBIJLPARK.- Two people have sustained serious injuries following a plane crush in Windsor next to the Vaal River in Vanderbijlpark.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst the accident happened at 15H10 Sunday afternoon.

When medics arrived on scene they found a light aircraft that had sustained substantial damage after it was alleged the plane hit wires.

“An adult male.and female were found to have sustained serious injuries and were treated on scene by paramedics. Once stabilised the male patient was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to a specialist facility.”

The adult female treated and once stabilised transported to a local hospital.”
