VANDERBIJLPARK. – Former MooiVaal Media journalist, Sonqoba “SK” Kunene (39) was laid to rest this morning, Sunday. Kunene who also worked for daily newspaper, Daily Sun, was currently working in the Communications Department of the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM). He died of Covid-19 complications last Sunday. The funeral service was held at his home in Miami Sand, in Vanderbijlpark. He was laid to rest at the Vanderbijlpark Cemetery. The funeral was attended by friends, colleagues and former colleagues in the Media industry. Speaker after speaker described Kunene as a humble individual who was passionate about his work.
