Police educate learners about drug abuse and teen pregnancy
"Seeing and attacking a fellow school mate as an enemy is not 'Ubuntu'".

The Evaton SAPS Social Crime, Communications, Social Development, Community Safety and other stake holders met at Motse wa Pele and Mofolo Primary Schools in Evaton to address bullying, drug abuse and gangsterism on Monday.
The police and other stake holders addressed to learners focusing on the school’s recent challenges like gangsterism, bullying, gender based violence, teenage pregnancy and ‘Ubuntu’ (humanity).
Learners were sensitized about the importance of sharing, caring and respect for teachers, elders and self-love.
Other issues that were discussed are:
*Teenage pregnancies are a shame to the nation.
*Seeing and attacking a fellow school mate as an enemy is not Ubuntu.
*Intake of alcohol by learners is also a shame.
“Police warned and advised learners that all the above mentioned points have a huge impact in our wellbeing as a people. It is these pillars that have shaped us as nation,” said Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi.
