Thirteen injured, two airlifted from scene
It is understood that they were making their way home after attending a funeral.

Thirteen people, which included several teenagers, sustained various injuries when they were thrown off the back of a bakkie when it overturned in Kokozi, Fochville on Saturday afternoon. At approximately 1pm, paramedics from ER24 and local emergency services attended the scene. Upon their arrival they found the occupants of the vehicle scattered on the scene.
Five adults were found with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Eight teenagers between the ages of 12 and 16 were also found on the scene. Two of them, a 15 and 16-year-old, sustained critical head injuries. Two emergency medical helicopters were called to the scene to airlift them to hospital. Three patients were transported by ambulance to Carlentonville Provincial Hospital while two others used private transport to leave the scene. It is understood that they were making their way home after attending a funeral. The exact circumstances on how the incident occurred is not yet known. Local authorities attended the scene.
