Zamdela residents ‘thrown under a moving truck’

"ANC members, the Police and  the IEC officials are 'in the same WhatsApp group'."

ZAMDELA.- The angry residents of Ward 6 in Zamdela has said that they are not happy with the outcome of the recent local government results. This comes after the ANC managed to hold on its wards during the recent local governemnt elections.

Following the public meeting hosted outside opposite Nelson Mandela Primary School yesterday, the residents said they believe that the IEC has thrown them ‘under a moving truck’.

Peace Tsotetsi, an Independent candidate, told Sedibeng Ster, without mentioning names that ANC members, the Police and  the IEC officials are ‘in the same WhatsApp group’.

The residents said that the best solution is to go to the streets to protests. Tsotetsi said although they informed the IEC about their dissatisfaction that the results were rigged they know that the case will be under investigation ‘until Jesus comes’.
