Finance MEC visits Sebokeng Youth Expo 2022

"For the youth to be able to run their own business they must register with ITC."

SEBOKENG. – Gauteng MEC for Finance Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko pleaded with young people to fully utilise part of the classrooms of the now defunct Ntabankuku Primary School where they are to be trained for the six months for the International Trade Center (ITC).

The MEC was addressing the youth at the launching of the Sebokeng Youth Expo 2022 hosted at Ntabankulu Multipurpose Center in Zone 12, Sebokeng recently. Nkomo-Ralehoko said that  her department has signed an agreement with Sedibeng College to extend the ITC training.
ITC is a private company working together with the government.

“For the youth to be able to run their own business they must register with ITC.”

She further mentioned that about 400 youth will be taken for training with ITC that deal with fourth industrial revolution. Khupa Hlombane, the Center Manager said that the high rate of unemployment of the youth in the region is alarming. He made a humbled appeal to the MEC to consider the plight of the youth.
