Zone 7 woman (29) arrested for attempted murder

The victim ran to her place but the suspect still came after her and stabbed her on the left hand.

EVATON.- The Evaton Police recently arrested a 29-year-old woman in Zone 7, Sebokeng for attempted murder.

It is said that the victim was walking with her husband at about 22:00 when they met the suspect who was with to men, and the suspect made a joke saying  that “others are chasing after men”. Police Spokesperson Constable Thulisile Msibi said that the victim and the suspect had an argument, the suspect then poured the victim with alcohol and hit her with a bottle on the head.

“The victim tried to defend herself by picking up stones and hit the suspect but the suspect managed to pull another bottle and stabbed the victim on the chest. The victim ran to her place but the suspect still came after her and stabbed her on the left hand. The suspect repeatedly hit her with a bottle full of alcohol twice on the forehead and mouth. She was rescued by her husband who called an ambulance.”
