Drug suspects behind bars

The pair were arrested for being in possession of drugs worth R24 500.

SEDIBENG. Two suspects aged 23 and 38- years-old have been arrested by the Police K 9 unit in possession of illegal drugs.

While the members of Sedibeng K9 “D” Relief were performing patrol duties in Sebokeng they noticed  a suspicious Silver Mercedes-Benz parked next to the road opposite Zone 11, Sebokeng. The police requested permission to search the occupants of the vehicle.
A transparent plastic containing drugs (nyaope) was found in the driver’s pocket.

Police Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Martin Seaman of the Seding Flying Squad said under the driver’s seat they also found another plastic containing Nyaope. The suspects were asked about the ownership of these suspicious parcels but they both could not account for them.

The pair were arrested for being in possession of drugs worth R24 500.
The suspects are expected to appear in Sebokeng Magistrate’s Court soon.
