VEREENIGING. – The Vereeniging SAPS has launched an investigation into an ATM bombing incident. The incident happened in the early hours on Friday morning at a Supermarket in Sonlandpark.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda says, “Police received a complaint of an ATM bombing incident and on arrival, found that suspects had fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

“The K9 dog unit also arrived on the scene to assist with preliminary investigations.”
