DE DEUR. – This follows the discovery of a body of a female in an open veld near Savanna City on June 20.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Maria Letsele stated that SAPS members were alerted by members of the community following the discovery of the woman’s body in the veld.
“On arrival at the scene, police were informed by a passer-by that he was alerted about the body by members of the community and decided to inform the police. The man then pointed out the scene to the police.”
Letsele states that the body was found lying on the gravel road next to a Ford Ranger Bakkie which was stripped off its tyres.
