LAKESIDE – Families of two men named Mokete Tsotetsi (25) and Mojalefa Morobi (34) are now mourning the death their sons.
Following the incident, Sedibeng Ster visited the families in the area on a tell it all interview.
The Morobi and Tsotetsi told the paper how they were called to a scene around 20:00 after the brazen shooting of the duo.
Lying in a pool of blood on the streets with bystanders looking in disbelief, this is what the families arrived to.

Speaking to the paper, Dimakatso Morobi (69) said her son left the house in the morning.
“He was loitering around the hood. A neighbour came to my house running and told me Moji was shot. When I got to the scene, I found my son dead,” she said.
“I’m heartbroken because Moji was a bread winner and he always helped out,” she said.
Asked how was Moji, his mother said he was repented.
“He was a troublesome son growing up but for years now he changed the lifestyle he lived. He will live in my heart,” she said.
Dimakatso said all her family want is to see her son’s murder behind bars.

Moje’s nephew told the Ster team that the alleged gunmen were roaming the hood moments before his uncle’s assassination.
“I went to visit a friend a block away from our home. I saw the white taxi alleged to have taken Muji’s life slowly driving in our hood. The taxi stopped and a light inside went on. The taxi left without dropping or picking anybody,” he said.
The 22-year-old said he went to a local tavern where Muji and the other shot people were watching soccer.
“I realized the taxi was outside, still with a group of men inside. Muji left the shebeen. When I was on my way home, I was told that there was a shooting and Muji was among those who are shot. When I got to the scene, he was lying there in a pool of blood. We went to a local police station trying to get help. Failure to get assistance, we went back to the scene and found him dead,” he said.
In a twist, Mokete’s father Abrahama Tsotetsi (54) said he was waken up by a neighbour who told her his son was shot.
“We went to the scene and found my son swimming in blood. When we last saw him, it was in the early morning on Sunday,” he said.

Describing his son, Abraham said Mokete was a people’s person.
“My son has never been in any trouble. We have never seen people coming here complaining that he did this and that. We are broken and hope that the people who did this get arrested,” he said.
Police spokesperson Seargent Shaan Motsapi said a case of double murder was opened and investigations are underway.
“At this moment, no suspects have been arrested and our members are investigating,” said Motsapi.
