“We met at college with this old friend of mine and she always showed determination. Although she was the most complaining one, she grew up to be a better cop. Zodwa, you are retired now, please stay at home. Do not interfere with police work,” she jokingly said.

Mayor Maloka also took a turn to wish Molefe a good farewell.
“Mme Molefe, we take a bow for you. The list of your achievements is for all of us to see. You have touched our lives. Your dedication to making Sedibeng law enforcement better is clearly everything you have done. Your work was truly a class act which makes it very difficult to summarize in fewer pages,” she said.

Giving an acknowledgment speech, Molefe thanked all those who attended her farewell.
“Thank you very much for being here today. I believe many of you who had the opportunity to work with me learned a lot from me, as I learned a lot from them. As I say goodbye after servicing 38 and seven months, each and every one of you made me enjoy so many years in the police,” she said.

“Yes, there were challenges however I am proud to say I have enjoyed most of my years in this organization. I will no longer be working, it’s time I stay at home and look after my grandchildren. I will definitely miss a lot and miss all of you. To the offices remaining in this district, respect the community that you are serving,” she said.
Molefe took the last dance in the full view of attendees together with her family.
