SEBOKENG.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) is gearing up for the 2023/2024 Super League season, with teams invited to attend a meeting at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14, Sebokeng on Sunday.
This announcement was made by Oupa Tladinyane, the ELFA Competitions Convener, who stated that all teams are invited to this meeting in preparation for the upcoming season.
The Super League teams have already commenced their pre-season games as part of their readiness for the new season.
For instance, pre-season games have taken place at various venues in Emfuleni to prepare for the upcoming Super League season. Over the weekend, pre-season games were held at Boipatong Stadium, where four local teams competed against each other throughout the day.

Tladinyane, speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, expressed their anticipation for the upcoming season, noting that the league is set to kick off at the end of August. A key topic on the agenda will be registration, as well as a review of the previous season, during which Celta Vigo Development FC was promoted to the SAB League. A workshop has been planned for all Super League teams prior to the league’s commencement, continuing a tradition from previous seasons. This workshop will cover various aspects, including the laws of the game.
“We have extended invitations to all Super League teams as we prepare for the new season and assess the number of participating teams,” Tladinyane conveyed to Sedibeng Ster Sport.
