Oritonda Mabaso (6) is spreading love in the Vaal Triangle one donation at a time. The donation drive aimed at giving back to the community, forms part of her new journey as a finalist for Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026.
The pageant focuses on empowering young women, offering a platform to inspire and evolve through community engagement. The competition includes categories for different ages, aiming to celebrate true beauty and provide opportunities for contestants, as indicated by previous finalist announcements. The drive is a call to action by the pageant, which requires contestants to uplift and give back to their communities.
Speaking to Ster North, Bridgette Mavhunga says Oritonda started the drive by collecting donations from community members who are passionate about helping those in need.
“The drive has been going well, and we were able to gift organisations such as Leema Mokotudi Special School in Sebokeng, TLC Children’s home in Walkerville, Katleho Home for the Disabled, Lebohang Centre, and Sebokeng Elderly home. Donations handed over included shoes, clothes, toys, and Sanitary pads.
Mavhunga asks the community to donate clothes, shoes, and sanitary pads so thet oritonda can continue with her passion of giving back.
“We would like the donation drive to continue as it is making an impact and changing lives.”
