Families of deceased firearm owners sought

Kliprivier SAPS calls on families and next of kin of deceased firearm owners listed in the firearm amnesty register to urgently come forward regarding matters linked to deceased estates.

Kliprivier SAPS hereby requests the family members or next of kin of the deceased persons listed in the firearm amnesty register to urgently come forward regarding decisions that need to be made in relation to the firearms registered under the deceased estates.

The process forms part of firearm amnesty and compliance procedures in terms of the Firearms Control Act.Families are requested to visit Kliprivier SAPS for guidance and assistance regarding the following:

  • Renewal or transfer processes
  • Voluntary surrender of firearms
  • Safe legal disposal procedures
  • Any outstanding firearm-related matters linked to the deceased estate

The names of the deceased people are Frederick Storm, Hendrick Olivier, Joan Labuschagne, Gerhard Smith, Jose Da Silva, Van Der Linda Isaka, Robert Binnie and Thamsanqa Ntuli.
