The event which took place on Friday 17 February gave six local private school and two other Curro schools the opportunity to test their metal against each other whilst building friendly relations that will last a lifetime.

The day started off where all participating athletes waved their schools flags in an honorary march around the athletics track. Showing pride in representing their school, as this is what athletics is about.
The participating schools were, Curro Vanderbijlpark, Curro Secunda, Curro Serengeti, Curro Savannah City, Vaal Triangle Academy, Vesco Academy, Oriah Private School and Sancta Maria Private School.

Curro’s Head of Primary School, Bertie Goss said many athletes left the event as winners in various items, but sportsmanship triumphed at the end of the day.
