
On Friday, November 17th different SAPS disciplines presented the SAPS as an employer of choice to the youth of Midvaal.
The police used the day to showcase the various career streams that the SAPS has to offer.
Midvaal youth visiting SAPS stalls gained knowledge and exposure to career opportunities offered by the SAPS.

Over and above the police’s crime combatting responsibilities, the SAPS aslo employs: accountants, veterans, lawyers, auditors, forensic social workers, and criminal psychologists, to name a few.
According to station commander, Colonel Senzangakhona Christopher Mohale, SAPS represented a significant investment in the future of South Africa.
“By fostering an environment of opportunity and growth, SAPS is actively participating in the development of the nation’s workforce. This initiative benefits not only SAPS but also contributes to the overall progress of the country,” says Mohale.

“The police are taking a pro-active approach to address the diverse range of challenges faced by today’s youth.
“Recognizing the need for crime prevention activities and programmes to effectively tackle daily issues as well as criminal and social concerns affecting young people especially at schools, tertiary institutions and in our local communities,” says Mohale.
According to Mohale, the SAPS envisages to build a brighter future for our young citizens, by empowering them to become resilient, responsible, and active contributors to society and help fight crime collectively.
