Leeuhof mother arrested for ‘pimping out’ daughter (9)

She is alleged to have offered herself and her daughter to adult males in exchange for money.

VEREENIGING. – A 36-year-old mother was arrested at a house in Leeuhof on Wednesday morning  November 22, following an investigation into the alleged human trafficking of her 9-year-old biological daughter.

Her male partner (31), who is said to have also benefitted financially, was also arrested for human trafficking.

An adult male, who is said to have raped the child, was also arrested for rape.

Sedibeng Ster was told that more arrests could soon follow.

The case is being investigated by the police’s unit for family violence, child protection and sexual offences.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court court on Friday, November 24.
