Sebokeng SAPS Detectives secure 12 years imprisonment for murder

SEBOKENG: The South African Police Service (SAPS) Management in Sebokeng embraced an outstanding conviction and sentencing that was handed down to a male charged with murder recently.
Secured by Sebokeng SAPS Detectives, Moeketsi Nhlapo, the suspect was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for murder at Sebokeng Magistrate’s court. This comes after he stabbed Thamsanqa Gaba several times on 20 August 2023 in Kanana Sebokeng.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that a case docket of murder was opened and assigned to the dedicated detective for investigation.
“The detectives worked hard in tracing the suspect to ensure that he is brought to book. They followed all leads until the suspect was eventually arrested and charged with murder.”
