Thandeka wants to see the world

“My mom always wanted to have a soup kitchen for less fortunate members of our community."

SEBOKENG. – From humble beginnings of the township of Tumahole, Parys and now a Boiler Making student at Flavius Mareka Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College in Sasolburg, Thandeka ‘Dihappiness’ Zibuta is a model aiming high.

This daughter of Maki and Billy Zibuta wishes to see herself on the Miss Supranational and the Miss Universe stage in the next coming years. He r other wish is to also be behind the cameras as an actor.

“One of my favourites local shows is ‘House of Zwide’ because it has fashion designer actors on it, it inspires me a lot.”

Zibuta runs charity projects, giving back to the community.

“My mom always wanted to have a soup kitchen for less fortunate members of our community, and I did fulfil her dream after winning Miss Ore Incarnate SA. I have opened a soup kitchen where we accept old clothes, and any kind of food.”

After the soup kitchen Zibuta said that she realised that young girls miss school for day because they don’t have sanitary towels, she then decided to donate sanitary towels to local schools, of which she accepts donations.
