VANDERBIJLPARK – Just Dance Studio is a hive of activity as students enthusiastically prepare for this year’s main performance!
On December 5, the dance school will present a breath taking production benefiting local animal organisations. Dance and animal lovers can book their tickets now for this heart-warming project.
Just Dance Studio annually hosts a special performance by amateur dancers to raise funds and essentials for those in need, humans or animals.
Previous fundraising efforts supported Umephi Children’s Home in Meyerton, the Go Purple Foundation, Ons Gryse Jeug Old Age Home, Chalkboard Champs (a school for children with special needs), and Purrpaws Animal Shelter. This year’s project benefits 50 Shades of Spay and the Feral Cat sterilisation programme.
The performance will take place on December 5 at 17:00 (doors open 16:30) at Laerskool Kollegepark in Vanderbijlpark.
The theme is “Inside the World of Disney.” Each dance class will portray a Disney story, treating audiences to lovely dances, beautiful music, humour, and romance.
“We want to give back to the community through dance. We want to use our God-given talent to make a positive difference. Last year was a huge success, and this year we aim to do even better. This is only possible with the help of fellow animal lovers,” says Leandi Goosen from Just Dance Studio.
All funds raised will be donated to the participating animal organisations. Chilli PicNic Photography is involved this year, creating 2025 month-to-month calendars and birthday calendars featuring dance-themed photos and animals as main characters. The calendars will be sold during the event and marketed on Facebook afterwards.

Tickets for the December 5 performance cost R150 per person, with ‘golden row’ tickets available at R200 per person. The audience is welcome to donate cat and dog food, bedding, or other items to the beneficiary animal organisations at a donation station that will be available at the venue on the show date.
