SDHS raises GBV awareness

There is a need to protect women and children against violence.

BOIPATONG.- The Sedibeng District Health Services (SDHS) led by Acting Chief Director, Sonwabo Lindani supported Gender Based Violence (GBV) Champions in an event in Boipatong Monument yesterday, Wednesday.

The  event was graced by Sedibeng District Municipality (SDM) Executive Mayor, Lerato Maloka who also participated in a walk with the collective. Maloka gave the keynote address highlighting the need to protect women and children against violence.

SDHS has Thuthuzela centres in all its hospital which are rendering specialized services to GBV victims.
