SEDIBENG.- JJ Sporting FC will host the U17 Top4 Pre-season Tournament at Dick Fourie Stadium in Vereeniging on March 1.

This pre-season tournament is in preparation for the upcoming Gauteng Development League and LFAS Junior Leagues season for 2024/2025. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by Tyrone Koller, founder of JJ Sporting FC. Koller told Sedibeng Ster Sport that the tournament will see the four best teams compete.

The tournament will be played in a round-robin format with the two top teams in the final.

“We have invited the teams. They have already confirmed their participation and we are looking forward to having an exciting tournament. The tournament, however, is not about winning but an opportunity for the teams to prepare for the upcoming season.  I do not doubt that the four teams will bring their A-game next week,” said Koller.

Koller invited parents to bring camping chairs and enjoy watching their children in action.

To date, JJ Sporting hosted a successful tournament during the festive holidays, which saw teams outside and around the Vaal battle against each other for two days. The tournament saw U11, U13, U15 and U17 teams compete.
