Ntombolwana joins Limpopo team as conditioning coach
"This is what I want to do and I hope one day I will work with big teams in the PSL."

BOIPATONG.- Mongezi Ntombolwane is the latest Vaal coach added to the list of coaches to join the ABC Motsepe League teams.
Another local, Isaac Mphasane, also joined the Mpumalanga-based ABC Motsepe League team recently. This shows how much Vaal coaches are in demand. This is great news for local football seeing coaches from this region join teams outside Vaal. Ntombolwana, formerly with Boipatong FC, has been with Maruleng Celtics as a conditioning coach since last year August.
He made himself a name as an aerobics instructor who caught the attention of local and outside teams. His dedication and commitment are something to be admired, especially when he conducts training sessions and aerobics.
Sedibeng Ster Sport witnessed this when he was still involved with Boipatong FC. He is a man with many talents. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Ntombolwana said he was recommended to the club by one of his friends, Luxolo ‘Lux’ Ngcuthushe who witnessed Ntombolwana’s passion when conducting his training sessions.
He didn’t want to see his talent wasted and recommended him to a competitive league club. Ntombolwana told Sedibeng Ster Sport that little did he know when he started as the aerobics instructor that he would one day be a conditioning coach.
He said he never imagined himself as a conditioning coach.
“ I realised that sometimes the things we take for granted are the things that open doors for us. I never imagined that one day I would be doing this as part of my job. I was only focusing on aerobics until I got involved with Boipatong FC, I then realised that I could make a career out of this. People used to tell me how good I was and that I should pursue it. As they say, the rest is history and look where I am now by God’s grace. I wish to see myself working for one of the best teams in the country as a conditioning coach. But for now, I want to help the Celtics get to the level where they can challenge the league title. This is my focus right now and I have no doubt that this is achievable,” he concluded.
