Toner trouble leads to queues of despair

"Some people have to come back over a period of three days in order to get simple procedures completed."

A disgruntled resident of Metsimaholo Municipality writes:
Vaalweekblad, did you know there are extremely long queues at Sasolburg’s licensing department?
Some people have to come back over a period of three days in order to get simple procedures completed. The payment queue does not move faster than one client every half hour. One of the problems is there is only one pay station as the second one’s printer has no ink.
This has been the situation for over two weeks now. The supply department is in Bloemfontein and has not supplied new ink. An ink toner cartridge costs R3 000 at Makro.
Hundreds of people are wasting days and days of their time when they should be working productively.
