SEDIBENG.- Sedibeng Volleyball Union Development games are scheduled at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre in Zone 14 on March 23.

These games are part of the Sedibeng Volleyball Union to revive this sport in all the communities within Sedibeng. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by Joseph Manzi who is behind this initiative.

Manzi said they invited teams, schools and individuals to be part of this initiative to revive the sport in the form of development. He believes that volleyball is one of the sporting codes that is popular within the communities. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that they want to see schools involved in playing leagues among themselves.

“We invite everyone to come and be part of this programme on the day. We want to see volleyball being played in every community or township within Sedibeng. It is a work in progress as we speak and we have been involved in a series of programmes since the beginning of the year. We appeal to everyone to join us at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre on March 23 and I have no doubt that it is going to be fun- filled day,” said Manzi.
