Rocking the Vaal: Your hosts for the day
VANDERBIJLPARK - In 2024 the first Rocking the Vaal Festival was held at the Emerald Resort and Casino and apart from all the entertainment, 34 charities benefitted from it.
More than 8 000 hand-made blankets were distributed to charity and 35 000 scarves were handed out (35 000 balls of wool at 100g each were used) to achieve this.
Approximately 12 000 meals were handed out thanks to 360 potjiekos makers.
This year’s Rocking the Vaal, hosted by the GTCoC at the Emerald Resort and Casino on March 28 and 29 , will once again see hundreds of students and local residents pitching in to help with the various Guinness World Record attempts.
