SEDIBENG.- The DSTV Diski Challenge will come to an end this coming weekend at various venues in the country.
However, the Vaal will host no DDC fixture with Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune playing away games.
The two sides have used the Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark for their home games since the beginning of the season. The Vaal soccer fans are going to miss these DDC games as they come to an end. The local soccer fans would pack the Isak Steyl Stadium to capacity, especially when Orlando Pirates play or host the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns at the venue.
Sekhukhune United will be away to Chippa United, while Pirates will not play in any DDC game this weekend. Pirates’ babies were supposed to play against Royal AM, but the games have been scrapped from the fixture since they are no longer part of the league.
Kaizer Chiefs were crowned the 2025 DDC Champions after they beat Magesi 3-0, with Stellenbosch set to finish second on the log standings. With no DDC action, the Vaal soccer fans will have their eyes set on the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League and LFAS Super League match at various venues in Sedibeng.
