SEBOKENG.- Jumpers Softball Club will host Tlola Ketlole Family Day Tournament at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Centre in Zone 14, Sebokeng.
This family fun-filled softball tournament will take place on June 14, with male and female softball clubs exchanging bats throughout the day.
Food and drinks will be sold at the venue.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Sammy Molefe said they started this initiative with the late Mosiua Motsapi, and will continue. This tournament celebrates former softball legends, both players and administrators, who were instrumental in the development of this sport in Sedibeng. Molefe explained that the main purpose of this tournament is to revive softball in the community. He said Jumpers Softball Club is committed to developing softball, bringing this sport back into the community.

“I was inspired by the article I read in Sedibeng Ster about your plea to bring back softball in the community. However, there is much progress as far as Jumpers Softball Club is concerned, and some of the players went on to represent this region at provincial level. I must say we are moving in the right direction. We invite everyone to come and have a fun-filled day. There are many of them, and as Jumpers Softball Club, we want to acknowledge every one of them for the role they play in promoting softball in the community,” he concluded.
