Sebiloane is talent incarnate

From humble beginnings, seeking international recognition, Sebiloane serves as a testament to dedication, passion, and perseverance.

SEBOKENG. – Evaton-born wonderkid, Portia Sebiloane, is a rising star in the arts.

Passionate and determined, she joined Tshepo Chad Motingoe’s (TCM) Arts and Culture Organisation in 2024 under the acting category.

When the Evangelist Church Christian Fellowship Centre International (ECCFCI) invited TCM to participate in a drama competition, Sebiloane eagerly stepped up and earned a certificate of participation. Later that year, she entered a modelling competition in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal. Though she didn’t place, she wasn’t discouraged. “I believe I’ll make it one day,” she said.

Her persistence paid off, and In February, she was crowned 2nd Princess at Thandukwazi Secondary School’s beauty pageant.

By April, she became a brand ambassador for Coesy Apparel.

At a fashion showcase on June 28 at Zone 7 Library, Sebiloane wowed attendees with a dress she designed from Woolworths shopping bags, proving her creativity knows no bounds.

“TCM has been my pillar,” she said. “Through acting and modelling, I’ve learned to trust my instincts, imagine freely, and beyond boundaries. The arts have shown me that with passion and dedication I can turn my dreams into reality.”

From humble beginnings, seeking international recognition, Sebiloane serves as a testament to dedication, passion, and perseverance.
