VEREENIGING – The event will take place this Saturday, July 19, at the Vereeniging Civic Centre.

The primary goal of this Sector Parliament is to empower children to actively participate in legislative processes.

It aims to encourage the “born-free” generation to play a meaningful role in shaping good governance, in reflection of the 31 years of South Africa’s democracy.

The platform gives children the opportunity to express their understanding of democracy along with the rights and responsibilities that come with it.
