SEDIBENG.- Sedibeng Males Netball Teams will compete at National Championships.
This championships schedule to take place in Kwa-Zulu Natal from August 31 to September 6.
The tournament involves the u/23 and seniors, this was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by Dudu Msane who added that they are working tirelessly to secure sponsorship for Sedibeng Males Netball Teams for traveling and accommodation. Sedibeng Netball recently hosted a fundraising netball tournament in an effort to raise funds for these teams.
Msane said that this is the biggest challenge that they have been experiencing for a long time, having no sponsorship.
She urged local companies and business to come forward to help them financially.
The fundraising tournament was held at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Center in Zone 14, Sebokeng on Saturday.
“We decided to organise this tournament to try to raise funds but it is not enough. So, we appeal to everyone to come on board to assist us. These teams are going to represent our region there, and this is the most important thing to note. They are not going to Kwa-Zulu Natal for holidays but to represent Sedibeng. I’m very confident that they are going to make us proud. I have seen them playing, and I must say they are going to bring the trophy home,” said Msane.
