Technology is a powerful tool to unlock children's potential, helping them learn, create, and prepare for the future with confidence.

SHARPEVILLE.- Mohloli Maths, Science & ICT School of Specialisation with Maritime focus recently received visitors from Chery International, Chery South Africa Headquarters, and UNICEF South Africa ThinkShift.

The visitors witnessed the school’s proficiency in coding and robotics.

“Our learners showcased their expertise in drone operation, leaving a lasting impression on the visiting representatives. We are thrilled that our learners can command the attention of major companies in the coding and robotics sectors. We anticipate more collaborations of this nature, highlighting the exceptional talent at Mohloli and Sharpeville,” the school announced.

Technology is a powerful tool to unlock children’s potential, helping them learn, create, and prepare for the future with confidence. The visitors announced that a highlight of the visit was seeing the impact of the AI-based Competency Measurement Tool, developed with Chery’s funding support.

“This innovative tool is not only helping students understand their unique skills for future career paths but is also providing employers with a quantitative way to assess young talent.”

Charlie Zhang, Executive Vice President of Chery International, shared, “At Chery, we believe that education cultivates future leaders and innovators. We are proud to support a generation of innovators and problem-solvers who are ready to lead the future.”
