"As the party moves forward, it is imperative that its members work together to implement the ‘Roll Call’ directives effectively."
SEDIBENG. – The African National Congress (ANC) in Sedibeng, through its Regional Secretary, Jason Mkhwane has said that it welcomes the recent ANC Councillors ‘Roll Call’ that was called by its President, Cyril Ramaphosa at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg recently.
Mkhwane said that as the party moves forward, it is imperative that its members work together to implement the ‘Roll Call’ directives effectively.
“By focusing on industrialisation and improving our communication with communities, we can make meaningful strides toward achieving our development goals. The recent ANC roll call has underscored the critical importance of intensifying our collective efforts toward tangible service delivery and accelerated industrialisation.”
Key highlights from the directive include:
– Industrialisation as a Catalyst for Growth:
The ANC has reaffirmed its commitment to industrialization as a central pillar for economic development. This includes leveraging strategic investments, enhancing skills development, and fostering innovation to create sustainable job opportunities and drive economic growth.
– Enhanced Communication for Community Engagement:
Effective communication with our communities has been emphasized as a priority. This involves regular updates on progress, transparent governance, and active listening to the needs and concerns of our constituents. By strengthening our communication channels, we can build trust and ensure that our initiatives are responsive to community needs.
– Accountability and Performance:
The roll call has also reinforced the importance of accountability and high performance among public representatives. Councillors are expected to lead by example, ensuring that our actions are aligned with the ANC’s vision for a better life for all South Africans.
“Let’s continue to work together to turn these commitments into tangible outcomes for the benefit of all,” said Mkhwane.
