Robbery at Mzansi Store

SEBOKENG.- A case of business robbery is being investigated after unknown suspects robbed at a cash and carry popularly known as Mzansi in Zone 10, Extension 1 Sebokeng.

It is alleged that in the afternoon of September 24, +/-7 unknown men entered the store and they were all carrying firearms.

“One of them pointed a firearm at the victim and instructed him to hand over the money. A few of the suspects started to assault the victim while others went to take money and airtime from the till machine. The cellphones belonging to the workers were taken, as well as some of the stock that was packed in the store. Upon fleeing, the suspects forcefully removed the hard drive from the desktop and left with it as they probably noticed that the store was fitted with CCTV cameras,” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane.
