SEBOKENG.- The Sebokeng police have issued a stern warning to driver that use the Boylouw road, between Sebokeng, Sharpeville and Vereeniging.

In the evening of September 24, the victim was driving on Boylouw road next to Vitro where he was allegedly followed by a white motor vehicle (registration number and model not known).

“The white motor vehicle bumped his car from the rear and as he stopped to check he was approached by two unknown men carrying firearms. He ran to an open veld for safety, while his car was still idling. One of the suspects got inside the victim’s car and drove off while being followed by the unknown white car,” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane.

Meanwhile, the Acting Station Commander Colonel Chrizelda Pienaar pleads with the drivers to always be vigilant at all times.

“If you do not feel safe you must pull over to a safe place or drive straight to the nearest police station for safety.”
