MIDVAAL-The Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) Executive Mayor, Alderman Peter Teixeira, together with Members of the Mayoral Committee (MMCs), brought festive cheer to children from Ward 15 by hosting a Christmas Party.

The event aligns with MLM’s broader goals of community engagement and social upliftment.
The celebration took place at the Meyerton Swimming Pool, where children and their parents enjoyed a fun-filled day of swimming and community togetherness.

The Christmas party was hosted in collaboration with the Maya Cypress Tree NGO and supported by the Midvaal Junior Council, who helped ensure a memorable experience for both the children and parents. Each child received a Christmas gift as part of the festivities.

This annual event, hosted by the mayor, aims to give back to the community and spread joy and goodwill during the festive season.
