SEDIBENG.- The ‘Ease of Doing Business’ session, held at the Emfuleni Local Municipality’s Mayor’s Parlour recently was a platform for investors, businesses, and government stakeholders to engage on the key challenges affecting Gauteng’s investment climate.

Big businesses, investors, and government discussed ways to boost investor confidence in Emfuleni.

In partnership with Gauteng Growth and Development, the forum brought together senior leadership to map barriers and identify concrete, practical support for investors operating in ELM.

Spearheading the initiative was the ELM Executives Mayor, Sipho Radebe, Agriculture, Local Economic Development, Planning and Tourism MMC, Mbuyiselo Kantso and the Municipal Manager (MM), April Ntuli.

Attending the seminal session were the Vaal Special Economic Zone, Vaal River City Bedworth-Park, Vaal River City Sharpeville, Vaal Aerotropolis and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

“Aimed at strengthening investor confidence by addressing priority business challenges and delivering concrete support for companies operating in ELM, the session further intended to outline actionable steps, timelines, and commitments to streamline processes, improve infrastructure, and enhance the investment climate across Gauteng,” the ELM said.
