SEDIBENG.- Local health workers were proud to celebrate excellence, dedication, and impact after scooping three major prizes at the Gauteng Health Department Awards recently.

The Sedibeng District Health Services HAST team took home two top awards for their hard work. They were named the best for their condom stock management and received a second trophy for their efforts in the ‘Close the Gap’ health programme.

Awards prove commitment

Health officials said these awards prove the district’s unwavering commitment to improving public health and ensuring local people can get the medical services they need.

It wasn’t just the district teams celebrating.

Rietspruit Clinic was also honoured with the award for “Best Rural and Underserved Area Excellence.”
