ELM sends in Jetpatcher to ‘revive’ streets

A structured weekly programme will guide operations, track progress, and prioritise key areas in various regions across Emfuleni.

SEDIBENG. – The Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) deployed its new JetPatcher, now fully operational and already patching potholes in Vanderbijlpark last week.

The municipality said that a structured weekly programme will guide operations, track progress, and prioritise key areas in various regions across Emfuleni.

The specialised truck is said to have been designed to specifically for pothole repairs not full road resurfacing. The working team will rotate across Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging and Sebokeng regions.

“In late February, the Municipality unveiled its new fleet which forms part of ELM’s broader plan to improve service delivery, reduce road maintenance backlogs, and enhance road conditions for residents and businesses,” the ELM said.
