SEDIBENG. – Incoming Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Executive Mayor, Hasssan Mako, has announced his Mayoral Committee (MMC’s) this afternoon, June 11.

As the incoming Executive Mayor of ELM, Mako, a former MMC of Finance under former Executive Mayor Sipho Radebe who resigned recently, has announced the former mayor, and his former boss, Radebe, as the Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Health and Social Development.

As the term of our office is drawing closer.

“Following a vigorous process of consulting various stakeholders which included the alliance and coalition partners. This has been a tedious, however worthwhile process of bringing stability in the institution. As the term of our office is drawing closer, the mayoral committee of Emfuleni is committed to bring stability through building a residents driven Social Compact. We make a commitment to serve the people of Emfuleni with honesty and transparency,” the ELM said.

The positions are as follows:

• MMC for Finance & Revenue, Cllr. Makgala Lesaoana 
• MMC for SRACLIS, Cllr, Lehlohonolo Malindi
•  MMC for Public Safety, Cllr. Lepulana Masenya
•  MMC for Health & Social Development, Cllr. Sipho Radebe
•  MMC for Public Works, Cllr. Nkosinathi Ndwandwe
•  MMC for Local Economic Development, Cllr.  Sefatsa Sefatsa
• MMC for Shared Services, Cllr. Mpho Serapelo 
• MMC for Infrastructure, Planning & Development, Cllr. Bruce Aldrin Nimmerhout

• MMC for Environment & Waste Management, Cllr. Jonas Radebe
