MEYERTON – The police in Meyerton have launched an investigation into the disappearance of Naledi Zwane (21).

The NWU student was last seen on June 9. According to her parents, she was on her way to the Meyerton Licensing Department when she disappeared.

Further information suggests that Zwane last communicated with her parents around 12:48 via WhatsApp.

Police spokesperson Constable Nompumelelo Zazini reports that preliminary investigations revealed that Zwane was indeed booked to write at 13:00 but did not show up at the licensing department.

“At the time of her disappearance, Naledi was wearing black pants and Adidas sneakers. She is described as having straight black hair.”

Zazini is urging anyone who may have seen Naledi or who has information regarding her whereabouts to come forward immediately.
