SEDIBENG.- Newly promoted ABC Motsepe League side Ben 10 FC have confirmed they will use Cecil Oldridge Park for their home fixtures, with George Thabe Stadium selected as their alternative venue.

This announcement followed a recent stakeholder meeting hosted by the Emfuleni Local Municipality’s (ELM) sports department, where officials discussed upgrades to the grounds to meet league standards.

Ben 10 FC and fellow promoted club Boipatong FC secured their places in the ABC Motsepe League after finishing first and second respectively in the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League. Both teams will compete in Stream A, while Young Pirates FC will play in Stream B.

Boipatong FC have not yet confirmed their home or alternative venues, although they used Boipatong Stadium last season and are expected to make improvements to meet requirements.

Meanwhile, Young Pirates FC will continue to use their home ground from last season, Sicelo Stadium in Midvaal.

Both Ben 10 FC and Boipatong FC were required to await formal league approval to ensure their chosen facilities met the necessary criteria.
