EVATON. – If Orange Vaal Professionals and VUT FC are relegated from the ABC Motsepe League at the end of the season – this will mean four Safa Sedibeng SAB League teams will also be relegated to make way for them.
Safa Sedibeng League coordinator Beauty Molise didn’t confirm or deny this. “I don’t want to comment on this issue now because it is sensitive,” she told Sedibeng Ster Sport.
Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that some of the SAB League teams are worried that if these two sides are relegated they might find themselves in the lower division, especially those at the bottom of the log in both streams.
However, the biggest concern is Orange Vaal Professionals.
The club bought the status and some local club officials say there is no way that Safa Sedibeng should accept the club in case they are relegated from the ABC Motsepe League, if these two sides are relegated.
