SEDIBENG.- Football stars Lehlohonolo Majoro and Vuyo Mere have called it a dream come true as Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns prepare to face each other in the upcoming MTN8 Cup final on October 10.
Speaking exclusively to Sedibeng Ster Sport during the MTN8 Cup Media Trophy Tour hosted by MooiVaal Media, the former Pirates striker and Sundowns defender expressed their excitement for the heavyweight clash.

They noted that this fixture means a great deal to both supporters and the tournament sponsors.
Orlando Pirates secured their spot in the final with a dominant 3-0 victory over Sekhukune United at a packed Orlando Amstel Area, marking their fifth appearance in the tournament’s showcase match.
Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns staged a remarkable comeback in Durban. Overcoming a 1-0 deficit from the first leg against Golden Arrows, Sundowns triumphed 3-2 to tie the aggregate score at 3-3 and advance.

Adding to the excitement, the two clubs currently sit at the summit of the Betway Premiership table, separated only by goal difference. Vaal soccer fans will have even more reason to watch, as Pirates players Tshepang Moremi and Boitumelo Radiopane came off the bench in the second half against Sekhukune United to help set up the team’s third goal in stoppage time.
