Vaal young star leads Pirates in MTN8 final
He has quickly established himself as a top player in the league.
SHARPEVILLE.- Sharpeville-born star Tshepang ‘Bhuda’ Moremi is once again set to lead Orlando Pirates as they aim to lift the MTN8 trophy.
The defending champions will face African champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the Wafa Wafa final at a sold-out Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, with kick-off at 18:00.
Both teams have started the season with impressive performances, sitting first and second on the log standings.

Pirates enter the match as defending champions after beating Stellenbosch 3-0 in extra time at Mbombela Stadium last year.
Moremi produced a man-of-the-match performance by scoring a brace to help Pirates win the trophy for the fourth consecutive time, earning him the MTN8 Last Man Standing award at the PSL Awards.
After joining Pirates from AmaZulu, he quickly established himself as a top player in the league, forming a deadly combination with his homeboy Relebohile Mofokeng.
Mofokeng now plays in Belgium for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, while Moremi continues to find the back of the net and was recently called up to Bafana Bafana.
They face a hungry Mamelodi Sundowns side.
Moremi is now expected to lead Pirates toward a historic fifth consecutive MTN8 title. However, they face a hungry Mamelodi Sundowns side in what both coaches have promised will be a humdinger of a final featuring strong ball possession.
Vaal soccer fans, including Moremi’s family, are expected to be among the hundreds travelling to the stadium for tomorrow’s clash.
